On September 23, 2026, DHH announced that the Omacom Foundation is becoming a premier sponsor of 0xSero’s work on local AI for the next three years, through his company Sybil Solutions.

The goal in the official news post: make local models work beautifully out of the box on Omarchy—pick a model that fits your machine, tune it for the hardware, and connect it to your agents without a pile of homework after you buy a powerful PC.

Sero’s Local AI Registry already gathers model configurations, hardware-specific recipes, and performance measurements. DHH wants that practical knowledge turned into good defaults so you do not have to become an inference engineer to run a useful local model at home.

Your own computer does not have to do all the work alone either. The post also pushes a mesh of intelligence: laptop, office desktop, a machine at home—agents drawing on the hardware you already own without managing a mini data center first.

DHH frames this as part of the agentic OS promise, pointing at hardware like NVIDIA’s N1x and Alibaba’s upcoming Qwen Book as ordinary personal computers with serious local AI. Omarchy should make that power available from first use.

He still wants frontier models easy to use on Omarchy. The sponsorship is about choice: intelligence that does not depend on a monthly subscription or sending work to someone else’s servers.

Three years of backing covers models, tuning, machine-to-machine connections, and approachable defaults. DHH thanks patrons for making the sponsorship possible. This is a funding-and-collaboration announcement—not a claim that the full local stack ships today.
