On September 29, 2026, DHH posted that preinstalled Omarchy machines are now for sale from The Linux Laptop.
In the post he links The Linux Laptop Company’s site and frames it as ready-to-buy hardware with Omarchy already on it—not another “install the ISO yourself” weekend.
The shop page at thelinuxlaptop.com/omarchy-laptops spells out the offer: current Omarchy as published at omarchy.org on new Lenovo, Dell, HP, Acer, or Asus machines; Secure Boot off the way upstream requires; Wi-Fi, GPU, webcam, Bluetooth, audio, and touchscreen tested; UPS Ground USA only; manufacturer warranty kept on the chassis.
Desktop defaults to Hyprland with Quickshell (the Quattro shell). At checkout you set Linux Distribution to Omarchy. The company says it is not Omarchy upstream—it installs the official ISO and ensures the radios behave.
Listed AMD Ryzen examples include Dell Inspiron 16 5645, Dell Pro 14, Acer Swift Go 14, ThinkPad T14 Gen 7, IdeaPad Slim lines, Vivobook 15/16, and HP 17 touch. Omarchy is also a distro option on Intel SKUs, not AMD-only.
This is a third-party reseller announcement tied to DHH’s shout, distinct from earlier Slimbook preinstall talk. Treat the X post as the news beat and the shop page for configure-and-order details.
