Omatrix Matrix theme is an open site PR
Pull request #430 on omacom/omarchy-site, opened September 21, 2026, would add Omatrix to the community themes gallery. It is a Matrix-styled Omarchy theme: live rain, Neo-monitor screensaver lines, and a lock screen modeled on the film’s trace program.
On September 21, 2026, leandrolalanne opened pull request #430 on omacom/omarchy-site to add Omatrix to the theme gallery.
Omatrix is a Matrix theme meant to behave like a movie prop: the rain actually runs, the screensaver types lines from Neo’s monitor, and the lock screen is the trace program from the opening.
The theme repo is omarchy-omatrix-theme (MIT). The PR says its colours come from the digital rain’s own ramp—film green at hue 108 rather than the usual 135—with the password box shaped like the film’s thin light line over cycling digits.
Two screensavers alternate: Neo’s monitor lines typed with your login name, and rain condensing into a wordmark. Every terminal is set to open on the film’s first-frame readout, with date and origin swapped for real ones.
The live wallpapers and lock trace come from a separate MIT project, matrix-rain. Installing the theme puts matrix, redpill, and trace on your PATH, plus Courier Prime Bold and a WhatsApp Web stylesheet.
The PR edits themes/index.html with a gallery preview between existing entries. It is still open, so this is the proposed site listing—not a merged themes-page entry yet. Until it lands, install from the theme’s GitHub repo.
