Darkroom Night Vision theme is still an open site PR
Pull request #403 on omacom/omarchy-site, opened September 15, 2026, would add Darkroom Night Vision to Omarchy’s community themes page. The theme is red-only: green and blue stay at 00 so hierarchy comes from brightness alone.
On September 15, 2026, Bryan-Legend opened pull request #403 on omacom/omarchy-site to add Darkroom Night Vision to the community themes page.
The PR describes a red-only theme for dark rooms and dark-adapted eyes: every color keeps its green and blue channels at 00, so the screen only emits red light.
Hierarchy comes from brightness alone, and nothing gets close to full white—useful if you work in a darkroom-style setup and want the UI to stay in that red band.
The change adds a preview asset and an alphabetical entry on themes/index.html between Darcula and Demon, linking to the theme’s own repo: omarchy-darkroom-night-vision-theme.
The preview image is a 1200×675 WebP from a real session with the theme’s wallpaper.
The PR is still open, so this is the proposed site listing, not a merged themes-page entry yet. Until it lands, install and follow the theme from its GitHub repo rather than expecting it in the live community grid.
