DHH says he usually prefers agent contributions to Omarchy

Agent-written bug reports and PRs are not just welcome, DHH says, and he has already shipped two Omarchy PRs built with Meta’s new Muse Wonder model.

DHH has made his stance on AI agents contributing to Omarchy very clear. In an X post on October 13, 2026, he wrote: “Agent contributions to Omarchy are not only very welcome, but I usually prefer them!”

His reasoning is practical. “Rare is the human who has the patience to match an agent in providing all the pertinent details in a bug report,” he wrote, adding that “PRs are mostly just proofs of concept now anyway.”

A few hours later, DHH said he had already put that approach to work with Muse Wonder, the new frontier model Meta introduced on October 12. “I’ve already shipped two Omarchy PRs built with Wonder! Really impressed with how quickly they’ve caught up,” he wrote in a follow-up post. He did not say which two PRs they were.

He also listed what he still wants from the model: “a bit more speed on max reasoning and a proper agent overview for the default harness.”

DHH added that the project “will be using a lot of Wonder with our $1.5m @AIatMeta token stash.” He did not give further details about that budget in the post.

For contributors, the message is simple: a detailed, agent-assisted bug report or PR is welcome in Omarchy, and may even be preferred to a hand-written one.
