53 theme submissions land at once in Omarchy’s community theme gallery

One batch pull request merged every reviewed theme that was ready to list, from Terminator to Tokyo Day. A merge glitch is still hiding some of the new entries on the live page.

The community themes page on omarchy.org just got a big batch of new entries. On October 24, 2026, omarchybot merged pull request #623 on omacom/omarchy-site, “Land 53 reviewed theme submissions”, which brings 53 pending theme pull requests into the gallery in one go.

Why one big PR? According to its description, merging them one at a time “trips over itself”: each submission adds a <figure> to themes/index.html, and many conflicted with a neighbour that had just landed. Each pull request’s own head commit was merged unchanged, so GitHub marks every one as merged and contributors keep their commits.

53 submissions doesn’t mean 53 themes. Two of them, #45 (Castle on a Lake) and #615 (StIcKeR bOmArChY), only replace a preview image. Three add two themes each: #240 (Autumn and Spring), #488 (Pomarchy and Pomarchy Escuro) and #606 (Asia Neon and Fireplace). Going by the files in the PR, that’s 54 new themes. Tom Ballard made the same point in his daily Omarchy recap on X.

The PR says every theme repository was audited on October 24 against the site’s triage rules, and that none of them ships code: “themes may not ship code, scripts or installers”. That’s why twelve other submissions were left out: #153, #200, #364, #384, #385, #415, #494, #497, #511, #560, #579 and #613. After the merge, the PR says, “the gallery parses to 218 entries”. The page itself shows no counter.

A few of the new arrivals: Terminator by @benwillems, Itachi (warm black and crimson), Turner by @simoz, Cyber Ember (onyx, terracotta and steel blue), Forest Night by @ForrestKnight, Black Mesa and Ingolstadt 1792. There’s also Farbenlehre, a dark theme based on Goethe’s Theory of Colours (1810), submitted by @thepixelgardener-create. Sven says it’s his take on Goethe, and he celebrated on X: “53 new themes just landed in Omarchy”, adding “200+ themes now”.

Some themes we covered while their PRs were still open are now listed. Tokyo Day, lexeko’s light take on Tokyo Night, went in through #512. The Omatrix now in the gallery is a different theme from the one we wrote about: it’s @0x1ocean’s version (#110), which pairs Osaka Jade colors with a live cmatrix rain drawn by a separate shell plugin. leandrolalanne’s Omatrix (#430) was closed without being merged.

One catch: not every new theme is visible yet. When we checked omarchy.org/themes on October 25, 2026, 15 of the new entries were missing, going by the preview files in the PR, including Asia Neon, Pomarchy, Space and Space Marine. Two open fixes explain the bug. Conflict resolutions dropped the </figure> tags between neighbouring entries, and the gallery parser only reads the first link in each figure. #625 from @sspaeti restores Asia Neon, and #627 from @anmolsharma152 restores Space and Space Marine.

Those two PRs cover three of the 15 missing themes; the other twelve aren’t covered by either. Everything that’s already listed can be installed from Omarchy through Install, then Style, then Themes.
