Brian Armstrong, whose GitHub profile lists him as CEO at Coinbase, has a public plugin called Coinbase for Omarchy. The README describes it as an unofficial portfolio widget and dashboard: signed out, the bar shows a configurable market ticker; signed in, it shows a Coinbase portfolio balance and the change over the selected period.

The panel covers a portfolio view, a Coinbase watchlist, and markets ranked by 24-hour volume across all, spot crypto, stock, commodity, and index. Charts and sparklines sync across 1H, 1D, 1W, 1M, 1Y, and all-time. Asset pages include search, market stats, and links out to Coinbase.com. Keyboard use is built in: arrows move through rows and tabs, Enter opens an asset, Escape goes back or closes, slash focuses search, and P pins the current asset while signed out. A right-click cycles the bar through full, balance-only, and icon-only.

It does not place trades or move funds. Buy, sell, deposit, withdrawal, send, and receive only open an HTTPS page on Coinbase.com, and browser launches are restricted to Coinbase HTTPS hosts. Default OAuth scopes in the source are wallet user read, accounts read, watchlist read, watchlist update, and offline access for refresh tokens. Tokens sit locally at ~/.local/state/omarchy/coinbase/tokens.json with mode 0600. Pre-IPO perpetuals are filtered out of the interface by hand, including search and cached watchlist rows; the README says that filter is not automatic eligibility detection and does not change the Coinbase watchlist itself.

Install needs Omarchy with omarchy-shell, Python 3, and network access, with no third-party Python dependencies and no extra privileges. The README points at marketplace submission 7520 and says it is awaiting maintainer approval, so the supported path for now is the public repo: omarchy plugin add https://github.com/barmstrong/omarchy-coinbase.git –enable. Sign-in uses a hosted OAuth broker so installers do not need their own Coinbase client secret; the source for that Cloudflare Worker is in the repo and can be self-hosted. Logout asks Coinbase to revoke the access token, then deletes the local token file. Removal is omarchy plugin remove coinbase. The project states it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Coinbase, and that plugins run inside omarchy-shell without a sandbox, so the source should be read before it is enabled.
