Want your phone on the desktop without leaving Omarchy? Android Mirror, a third-party plugin by Ayan De, mirrors and controls an Android phone from the Omarchy bar over USB or Wi-Fi, with keyboard and mouse. Its README puts latency at about 35–70 ms, with no root and nothing to install on the phone: a native panel over adb and scrcpy.

Left-click the Android icon for a panel of every connected phone and one-click Mirror. Right-click mirrors the first ready phone, or stops the running mirror. An Install button opens a terminal to add scrcpy, android-tools and android-udev through Omarchy’s package helper. You can enable Wi-Fi debugging on a USB-connected phone in one click, then unplug, or pair an Android 11+ phone over Wi-Fi with the pairing code and never use a cable.

The mirror window floats, stays pinned across workspaces and follows the phone’s rotation; the plugin registers the Hyprland window rule itself. Other options include turning the phone screen off while mirroring, keeping it awake and forwarding audio on Android 11+. Over Wi-Fi the plugin switches to a lighter profile (800 px, 2 Mbps, 30 fps, no audio) because the phone’s uplink is the bottleneck.

On the phone you need USB debugging (and on some vivo, OPPO or Xiaomi devices, the extra “USB debugging (Security settings)” toggle). Install the plugin with omarchy plugin add https://github.com/ayandexyz/omarchy-android-mirror.git --enable, then click Install in the panel if you do not already have adb and scrcpy.

Android Mirror is at version 0.1.0, MIT-licensed, and had 43 stars on GitHub at the time of writing.
