DHH wants a Starship theme for Omarchy RS 4.5, and a first candidate is already up for review
DHH has asked the community for a Starship celebration theme in the next Omarchy release. Within hours, one contributor had opened pull requests to add it both to the theme gallery and to Omarchy itself.

On October 8, 2026, DHH asked on X for a theme to mark the occasion: “Let’s ship a Starship celebration theme in the upcoming Omarchy Quattro RS 4.5 release.” He asked people to link the best options in the replies and added that he really wants “that insane launch shot, but upscaled to 6K.”
The post quoted his announcement from earlier that day that SpaceXAI had joined the Omacom Foundation as a Founding Corporate Patron.
GitHub user cube-one-ber answered the same evening with a Starship theme. It comes with a pull request to the community gallery on omarchy.org (omarchy-site #542) and a second one to add it to Omarchy’s built-in theme picker (omarchy #14631).
According to the pull requests, the palette was extracted with Aether from a Starship launch photo. It uses warm launch-night surfaces, exhaust-cream text and sky-blue accents, with small NASA touches. The theme ships 28 wallpapers: 16 SpaceX photos plus the 12 backgrounds from Steve Derico’s Space theme, with the launch shot as the default.
At the time of writing, both pull requests were still open. DHH hasn’t said which submission will make it into RS 4.5, so other entries from his replies may still be in the running.
