The Omarchy meetup map keeps growing. On Tuesday, October 20, 2026, both Brisbane and Taipei host their first-ever Omarchy meetups, according to the listings on omarchy.org/meetups, which counts 29 upcoming meetups between October and December. All times below are local.

In Australia, Omarchy Brisbane Meetup 001 kicks off at 5:30 PM at Tanda, Level 4/108 Wickham St, Fortitude Valley. Tanda is providing both the venue and the pizza, entry is free, and the event is capped at 40 seats, so don’t wait if you want one: when we checked, only a couple of spots were left.

The host, Farzad Hayat, pitches it as a casual gathering for Omarchy users, the curious, and Linux and open-source fans. Bring a laptop, install Omarchy or try it in a VM, show off your themes and plugins, and talk Linux, programming, hardware, AI agents or whatever you’re building. The listing notes it’s a community-run meetup and that the organiser speaks for himself, not for Omarchy or the Omacom Foundation.

A few hours later, Omarchy Taipei #1 takes over from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Hosted by Yung Chen and Johnson Lu, it’s billed as a community-run, non-profit meetup for anyone into Omarchy, Linux, Arch, Hyprland and tiling window managers. The venue hasn’t been made public yet: the Luma page says registrants will see the exact location once it’s confirmed.

The Taipei agenda is properly stacked. After check-in, there’s a 10-minute introduction to Omarchy, then a show-and-tell block with talks including “The Missing Piece of Omarchy: Getting LINE to Work” by Yung, an Omarchy Plugin 101 by Kehao, and “Agent Omakase”, about customizing Omarchy with an agent, by Xavier. One more slot is open for a 5 to 10 minute lightning talk, and the evening wraps with mingling and a “Show Your Setup” session.

Fair warning: the Taipei event is already marked as full, but a waitlist is open and you’ll be notified if spots free up. Like Brisbane, the organizers make clear they aren’t officially affiliated with Basecamp or Omacom.

Not in Queensland or Taiwan? The full list of upcoming gatherings lives on the Omarchy calendar on Luma, and if there’s nothing near you, omarchy.org invites you to start your own.
