Omarchy meetups: Minas and Bentonville’s first NWA install fest on October 13
Two community-run Omarchy meetups are set for Tuesday, October 13, 2026: the second Omarchy Minas in Brazil and the first Omarchy meetup in Northwest Arkansas, an install fest at the Bentonville Public Library.

Two more community-run Omarchy meetups are on the calendar for Tuesday, October 13, 2026, both listed on the Omarchy meetups page. Like the others, they are organised by local users, not by the Omarchy team.
In Brazil, 2° Omarchy Minas, the group’s second meetup, runs from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM São Paulo time and is hosted by Edvaldo. The Luma page does not list a venue or a programme yet, so check it for details before the day. Nine people had registered at the time of writing.
In the United States, Omarchy NWA 001 is billed as the first Omarchy meetup in Northwest Arkansas. It runs from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Central time in the Haney Conference Room of the Bentonville Public Library, 405 S Main St, Bentonville, and is hosted by Matt Guenther. The organisers moved it to October 13 because the original date clashed with other local tech meetups.
The evening is hands-on and beginner-friendly. There is a show and tell for terminal customisations, agent setups and favourite plugins, where holding up your screen counts as a talk. The install fest is for anyone ready to switch from Windows, macOS or another distro: bring a compatible x86_64 laptop and the organisers will have bootable USBs ready. An open session covers config troubleshooting, CLI workflows and a vote on how the group should run from here.
Bring a laptop and its charger, and if you plan to install, back up your data completely before you come. Twelve people had registered at the time of writing.
